Return to the Burren

Dear Diary,

Finally, I have returned to my favorite part of Ireland, the Burren in County Clare. The trip across the pond was smooth and, with a strong tail wind, I arrived 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Despite a night with no sleep the excitement of being back here kept me going. The weather was very unsettled today but there were moments of sunshine and I was able to make this image. You don't come to Ireland of the weather! The Burren is an amazing landscape and the contrast of the limestone hills and lush green is striking...a heavenly place to photograph!
