Mesopotamia

Have had a wonderful day. Took my friends up to Mesopotamia Station which is up the top of the Rangitata Gorge. Beautiful day and we passed a lot of other stations on the way. Beautiful places mainly running large herds of Deer it seemed, much more than when we were up there years ago. Had a picnic right up at the end of the road. On the way home came on a wild Thar charged around on the road in front of us then leapt over the fence and away. Did not really get a good photo of it.. never got home until 6 pm so were late having our evening meal.
This image was taken half way up the road and we went on in right to the end.
