Brad

I had the wonderful privilege of attending my cousin Brad's 40th Birthday up in Gosford on Saturday night. Brad is the eldest child in his family, and he was born with Down Syndrome. His parents & 3 siblings have done a wonderful job nurturing & encouraging him in all that he does. When he was born his parents were told that "normal' life expectancy was probably in his 20's. We're all convinced that the love & support of his family & friends have helped him to hold down a job with McDonalds Restaurants for well over 20 years, and reach the point where he can now live independently in his own unit.

It was a fabulous night of dancing & celebration. We see him here entertaining his guests and sipping on one of his favourite West Coast Coolers.
