A new skill!!

I attended a machine embroidery class in Saffron Walden this morning. For all the years that I’ve been sewing, this was something new for me. My machine is relatively old, 16 years, so isn’t the easiest to use for this type of machining.

This is my first attempt and the keen eyed sewers amongst you will see that the tension needs adjusting. I was given some pieces of material to take home, as I want to try out more butterflies on this piece of material.
