lovely long lunch

Had a great lunch with Deb, Gary, and my mum who came over today :)

We started with crisps, panisses, pâté on toasts, cornichons, wine and Pastis for apéritif. Then melon with pepper and Parma ham for starters (old-school!), followed by spicy lamb burgers with flatbreads, yoghurty dressing and bulgur salad. Dessert was the homemade honey cake I made yesterday with crème fraîche and raspberries.

All homemade. All really bloody tasty.

The company was good fun and you can tell that's the case when you start lunch at 12.30 and finish at 4pm :)
