Hitting the target

I spent the day today mostly in a wet field in Penicuik. My sister was shooting in her first archery competition of the season.

She is the second on the right, in the purple top. She's 14 weeks pregnant (if you look really closely you can see a wee bump) is currently recovering from shoulder surgery, and still managed to shoot better than she has done in every previous first competition of the season before. She's completely amazing!

It was lovely to spend the day with her, even despite the ever changeable weather - we went from torrential rain to glorious sunshine and back again.

The folks then joined us and we went for dinner in Penicuik. Altogether a wonderful day!
