Incoming

So nice to not be getting up for the commute (train or car) this morning. Yogi didn't think anything of waking us at 4.20am however so he got shut out as a result much to his displeasure. When we did get up we fed the birds and then watched with fascination as we saw the new "baby" starlings out for themselves for the first time. They have yet to take full personal responsibility for their wellbeing, lots of shouts for food.

The weather has been a real lottery so we decided to pop out for a meandering drive to Stokenchurch. Between heavy showers, we took a brief walk to get this view of the incoming weather, still sunny in the foreground and over the M40 but you can see what was coming and we got back to the car (after much badgering to put the tripod away as the rain advanced) with seconds to spare before the heavens opened.
