Lyth Valley

This was taken in the Lyth Valley near Brigsteer. From here we went up to Helsington Church but most of the fells were obscured by rain/mist/cloud. We plan to return on a better day as if offers such a marvellous panorama.

I spoke to No 1 son today which was good. He seemed very perky and I am looking forward to his visit at the end of the month.

In passing, he did ask how I would go about resizing a woollen jumped that had shrunk in the wash! Not much I could say to that one.

We have heard today the lovely news that there will be new baby in the family from November. Quite a long way to go yet, and a few issues but fingers crossed.
