The Ramparts, Carcassonne

We've spent the day wandering the narrow streets of La Cite, enjoying the sun and heat, stopping for the occasional "refreshment", visiting the Chateau in the afternoon and descending to the old bridge ( this shot was taken on the way down) then back to the hotel where we are now sitting in the courtyard with a glass of red wine. What better way to spend a Saturday?
