Beer, beer, we want more beer!

A busy morning of orchestra for eldest, tennis and swimming for youngest, plant sale at church centre.

Youngest had a birthday party to go to this afternoon which was very conveniently located next to where our local town's annual beer festival was being held.

Mr M had no-one to go with, so I suggested we went with the kids as the lunchtime session is pretty child-friendly. It was very lively with almost 200 beers on tap. Bill Turnbull (BBC breakfast TV presenter) was even serving! I was too shy to ask if I could take his photo though. I only managed a very quick photo as we were leaving - I hadn't realised the marquee was adorned with chandeliers until I looked at the photo! I quite like the shot, though, as it shows how busy the volunteer staff were!

Chinese take-away for tea, then I'm going to persuade the boys to watch Eurovision with me. I might bribe them with a prize for who manages to pick the winning song!!
