ss Great Britain

On the way back from Devon, we visited the ss Great Britain in Bristol (Brunel's famous iron-hulled ship, fitted with a steam-powered propeller rather than paddles). JohnW, being an ex marine engineer has always wanted to see it. We both took many photos, and it has been difficult to pick one to blip as the ship is so interesting and there is so much to see and do.

This is one of the engineers' cabins. The ships engineers brought a monkey on board in 1852! We would recommend the SS Great Britain as a very good day out.
