Dimming of the day

Beautiful day here in Tui- alas a day for chores. Was up at the crack of dawn so made the most of the day. First on the agenda - empty the mouse traps! Two more in the bin! Then washing out before a leisurely breakfastDid consider driving into town but decided against it. I had things to do at home and would have only spent money if I went in:-)
So got the gardening gloves out and weeded the garden, well most of it anyway.

Saw that the sun was going to be impressive this evening, so headed out to Bluecliffs.

Saw these cows browsing with the sun at their back - away over the mountains. You don't really see amy cows down this way - thankfully. More sheep country here. But I liked the backdrop to this shot
