IDing one at a time

When one has a new bird book ... or two ... the challenge has only begun. I thought sure this was a Chickadee, not so. The three references I have say it's a House Sparrow and I don't think we'll run short of seeing these all year long. I like to shoot birds in this tree on the branches as it's in a more natural setting but the opportunity's are few, I'll keep working on it :o)
