Last of the Summer Wine...

Lovely Saturday afternoon....

Have just been to watch Ella play netball, great game again, they won and had alot of fun. The weather was nice to us too, second week in a row that I have been warm on the sideline!

On the way home I was side-tracked by a group of at least 8 Paragliders coming down to land in the valley, which they do quite often, and drove in their direction to see if I could get a blip of them all landing.

When I got to the park they didn't look as great as I thought, and I got distracted by a group of men racing their remote controlled boats in the small pond / lake that is there.
These guys were such a hardcase lot..they actually called themselves the Last of the Summer Wine group I think..and they almost looked like the characters from the TV series!.They were enjoying their afternoon very much , chatting about technical bits and bobs on their boats, and racing around the lake.
I just wish I had my big camera not only my phone to get some decent shots.

( by the way , this shot is looking back to the view of where the houses I blipped being demolished the other day are located at the bottom of the hill on the left of the picture.)
