Well, it's finally happened - after tearing my rotator-cuff playing tennis in 2012, and 18 months of off and on Physio, I had it operated on today.

an interesting cocktail of Morphine, local anesthetics in the shoulder ( 2 types) and a general anesthetic knocked me out cold! Felt a little high when I woke, but t he consultant said it was a much worse tear than they had thought, and was so vital that they operated.

Home with an interesting collection of drugs too. Can't drive for ages, and most would say can't photograph, but the Nikon J2 will be getting a lot of use, and the tripod might not be!

We've hired a chauffeur, as our next workshop starts on Sunday!
