A moment of peace

After another full day. A run this morning, a bit later than I would have liked but it was still fresh enough with a hint of a breeze. A trip to the local Lidl for supplies of pistachios, water, wine & blueberries. Then off to the beach, this time Guardamar with its promenade, climbing frames and most importantly, ice cream parlour! Each of us choosing a different flavour. Nana went straight for the Baileys in a big tub, Miniman had strawberry & mint-choc-chip in a smaller tub and I opted for a cone of blackberry which was scrumptious!

We have dined on the back patio this evening and even managed to get the small bloke to bed before 8.30 so we can only hope he gets a proper nights rest. I fear all the excitement is catching up on him. Once asleep we have settled to a last episode of Sherlock then I ventured back out to catch a moment to myself. It's very peaceful out here at the moment. Just the way I like it.
