Beach Daisy
Last full day of our holiday. We decided to stay on Great Bernera today, since we will be driving lots tomorrow. We were going to walk from the town hall/museum to Bosta beach, but the museum was closed and we didn't know where the trail started.
So we took the van down to the beach and went a walk there instead. We went right out onto the peninsula where this pic of Daisy was taken, looking back to the bay. A seal popped up to have a look at what we were doing. It gave us the idea of getting the kayaks and having a paddle in this area while the sea was so calm.
So after lunch, we left the dogs behind and went back to Bosta. It was incredible, flat calm like a loch, with crystal clear waters that you could see to a depth of more than 12-15 feet. We got to have a proper look at the time and tide bell, which has had us curious since the start of the week.
