The Railway of Yesteryear

This is the rescued Railway line which in my childhood,ran between Bristol and Bath on the old LMS line.
Since it's closure in the 60's it has been the task of the Avon Valley Railway to resurrect it from the past.They now have quite a run of track and a number of local steam engines have been restored to their former glory.They also have guest engines throughout the year for fun raising events and of course the obligatory Santa Specials to which I always take the Grand Children!
