The Bogmeister

Those who've followed my journal for some time will know of the Bogmeister who led our walks - given the name because he seems to know the whereabouts of all the bogs and how to avoid go through them.
He is retiring from work and, for the time being, from leading walks as he is about to spend the summer cycling round Scandinavia. (Mr Rat and I have been organising a few in his stead).
In order to thank him and wish him well on his travels 16 of the recent more regular walkers met up in Edinburgh for the evening.
Earlier in the day it was the usual Thursday routine of housework, a short run, looking after grandson and café at church.
