Sunlit Woods

I have spent the last few days bemoaning the dull and grey weather, but today put paid to that. The afternoon light in the woods was simply superb and the greenery was at its best. Around every corner there was another shot worth recording, and the skies above Gillies Hill were filled with blue and huge cloud formations. When walking in the woods when they are like this the threat from renewed quarrying really comes home. So much would be lost both for us and for future generations.

A foot note to yesterday's blip of THe Hydro. I realised that by sheer coincidence I blipped the Hydro on May 8th 2012 in its construction phase. See it here
