Barnocks

This was just one of the found beach combing pieces put together by older people and facilitating artists for the launch of the West Cork Arts Centre Bealtaine exhibition this morning. The accompanying note said On Good Friday it was traditional to collect barnocks off the rocks, hitting them off with a stone and taking them home for supper.. more here
