Feeding frenzy
This is our friend Jim, holding his dog Holly. I have blipped them before. They visit the park every morning and again in the late afternoon, and they bring food for the smallest deer, aka Rascaletta, just as we do.
With a bag of cut up apples in my pocket and my camera in hand, I headed down the trail, and this is the scene I saw. Jim had just spread out some apples for Rascaletta, and all these deer gathered round, hoping for a share of the meal. Rascaletta is right in front of Jim, but because she is so tiny, you can't see her. Once the other deer moved away, this is what I saw, and yes, I fed her too! Wouldn't you?
