A peak over the hedge

Yesterday's blip attracted the most number of comments ever. Why do I bother with beautiful landscapes?

I took our Acorn Garden Services van this morning to a customer appointment, and of course had my camera to hand for some photographic records of the garden as it is now, to refer to in my new design. On the way back, I had to stop on red at some temporary traffic lights on a country lane, where normally it would be impracticable to stop.

In the few seconds I was there, I was delighted to be able to capture this view of Barkham Church, emerging from the surrounding trees, as I sat elevated in the van and able to get a clear view over the hedge.
