Morning Vista across Te Waihora
Not a bad sight to greet you as you turn the corner at Sunset Point!
With the mountains so deliciously lit, I had to turn off on the corner and take this shot, looking across Lake Ellesmere/Te Waihora to the distant peaks of the Southern Alps.
Like all panos, best viewed large.
This is another shot with the 'new' lens in the stable, the Sigma 120-300 f/2.8. I'm impressed with the sharpness wide open. I've now consolidated a bit of gear, with six lenses now turning into three; the 14mm f/2.8, 24-70mm f/2.8 and 120-300. Not surprisingly with all that fast glass, I don't think I've made any weight savings...
