Not a Wood Sandpiper

Another trip to Loch of Kinnordy, hoping to see a Wood Sandpiper, no luck there, but good views if not good photos of Little Ringed Plovers, Common Sandpiper and a male Marsh Harrier with yellow wing tags.

Continuing the search for Wood Sandpiper we headed through Dundee to Letham Pools. Here, as you can see, we got some excellent views and photos of Greenshank and Common Sandpiper and found the elusive Wood Sandpiper, unfortunately it only gave us distant views and therefore fairly dire photos but RCB's chosen to blip them for his run of a different species a day in 2014.
