Day Twenty Two
Myself, my manager (Monger), and the boss lady (Rosaline) headed out of Monrovia today to promote a new programme that YWCA has launched. We headed to Gbarnga (pronounced banga) to visit three communities that have been selected to pilot the programme.
The pic is of the highway out of Monrovia that takes you to Bong and Nimba Counties. The road varies, some parts are lovely and new and others are riddled with massive pot holes, and some is still to be tarmacked.
The scenery was lovely. More than 40% of West Africa's rain forest is contained within Liberia's borders, and it was amazing to see the country just blanketed by rainforest.
