I am super lucky!

I've been a bit down about mothers day coming up on Sunday as Andre has a 4 hour commitment which means me and the boys will be out for that time and while i cant wait to be with them on mothers day i mean they're my babies, i just kinda hoped i could lie about even its the only day a year i do, i just want to stay in my pjs and have Andre and the boys make me brekky and lunch. Yeah i know feeling a bit sorry for myself.....

Today though both the boys came home with gifts for me that they had made and my heart just lit up. They are too gorgeous.

The love heart card with the hand print on top is from Marley and its says ' Mum i love you because you buy me toys , you make me feel happy and you give me nice cuddles, Happy Mothers day Love Marley' !! He also found me a love heart shaped chestnut!. I love the hand print though i really love it.

The others bits are from Kanye. I got a wee choc and he made a heart from clay, he wrote over the word mum and the wee frame with his picture to the right on the back says ' I used my fingers to make this frame I love you mum and that's your name, Happy Mothers day' !!!! How sweet is that? I am one super lucky mama.

Had another great day, had a meeting with Kanyes soon to be new teacher, his current one is going on maternity leave in 3 weeks so she wanted to introduce me to the new one and she's lovely, i think Kanye has already warmed to her, she said he behaves so well for her.

Yesterday i had a meeting with CCS, i now have an advocate/social worker with them and she was great. She tells me what i'm entitled to, she will come to any appointments i want her to and be my support, she will research things if i ask questions and find the answers for me.

Already just from meeting her yesterday she is taking Marley on too and says that because of our situation we can apply through the lotteries commission for funding for a car, she said shes dealt with many families who have got assistance for a car/van for their child and that they give a substantial amount, she doesn't see any reason why they wouldn't help us. AMAZING!

We are also entitled to help from talklink which is a government company who provides assisted technology grants so she said that we can apply there for an ipad for Marley if we think it will help with his anxiety. Shes coming back next week with more information for me but she was so nice and very supportive. Wish we'd had her years ago!

I said to her i feel like i'm taking advantage of all of theses things she said 'no they are there for children like yours and its just that no one has told you about it, you are entitled to theses services to make your life as parents of these kids easier because you don't have it easy'.

I cant believe what a great week we have had. At the moment Marley is at the lego movie with Andre having a dadda/son date, they're going to the arcade after to play a few games before coming home for dinner!
