Waiting for the Ducks

This pond is next to a track Bella and I use as a shortcut to the mailbox. In autumn it's completely covered in duck weed and attracts lots of ducks but this morning there weren't any - now that the duck shooting season is under way they might have gone to one of the parks in town.
