The Royal Well

I (Annie) was working in Leeds today, so my commute home was even longer than usual. Having spent an hour and a half on the M1 with rain bucketing down and lots of jams, I got fed up and went on a little detour. I popped over to Matlock, for a bit of scenery and to escape the stationary traffic for a while. Today's blip is the Royal Well in Matlock - a good bit of twisty stone.

I finally made it home just before 10pm, having nearly (but not quite) run out of petrol on the way. Turns out you can keep driving for a bit after your car says zero miles of fuel to go... Oops.
