Little dragon...

This beautiful creature is my dear chum's 5 year old. In her monsters inc. onesie, ready for bed. I joined them for tea tonight, cooked by him while I helped little dragon with her homework.

I also got to cuddle up and listen to her excitedly read me the story of kipper and the angry giant. The 18 years that have passed since I cuddled up with my own 5 year old, listening to her reading, felt like yesterday.

I feel privileged to be able to borrow little dragon every now and then to do it all again. It's so precious.
