After the rain comes the sun

Working in the pouring rain for 5 hours today certainly was a bit of challenge. The rain was so persistent that my waterproof trousers failed and my fingers went wrinkly! It wasn't too bad for the first 3 hours, but after 5 I was glad to be getting in the car.

We dried and warmed ourselves up by burning wood in the wood burning fire place :) It was nice to wind down and finish our work like this.

At about 6 O'clock the sun made a late appearance! I went outside for a small wonder and captured the mini waterfall which sits just a few metres from the cottage. Fingers crossed for less rain tomorrow!
