The Cone Of Shame

Poor Katie is in the wars....she has a large (2cm ish) gash on her rear leg - ripped the skin right through.

We are not sure how she did it but she may have done it whilst running through the woods - a fallen branch or somesuch.

Anyway - she has antibiotics and some 'healing gel' from the vet, who didn't really want to stitch it. So this is to stop her licking away at it and infecting it.

She is such a brave girl - made no fuss whilst the vet prodded and poked the wound, and she will sit quite still whilst we fix and remove the cone.

Lets hope it heals quickly and we can dispense with this again.
