Castles in the Air

Eilean Donan castle near Dornie at the end of Glen Sheil. A great way to spend a few hours. It is great to visit even when the weather is rubbish. Apart fom the fact it looks like every shotbread tin you ever saw, it is great to photograph, and the tour was interesting and not too full of bus parties.
It was used in the film Highlander with Christopher Lambert.
We did this instead of climbing hills - they were too wet, as was my darling Elizabeths' nose.
