Family gathering.

Today MaggieD and I took off for the Scottish Borders. Two of Mag's cousins are over from Canada so we arranged to meet up at another cousin's house near Selkirk. Mag's aunt was also there, in her nineties and as sharp as a tack!
We had a great blether and lovely lunch before heading back up the A7. Interesting (for me at least) to see how the renewal of the "Waverley Line" was getting along. Still no sign of any actual rails but the track bed and bridges are well along and, I am told, it is on schedule.
Home and we got Rona walked just in time before the rain came on. Well, that would be Scotland for you!
