Sitting out

When five people turn up for a Mah-jong session we have to take it in turns to sit out because you can't play five handed Mah-jong. We all enjoy sitting out because you get to watch two hands at once and it is interesting to see how other players tackle their hands. When I was sitting out this morning I noticed it had temporarily stopped raining so I popped outside to blip my host's white lilac.

Lilac was my mother's favourite flower, but she never brought it indoors because she thought it was unlucky. I'm not really superstitious but I too never bring lilac indoors which is a shame because I have a lovely miniature lilac with a strong perfume. Stupid really!
