Holiday on Ice

I landed at 23:15 last night, having resigned myself to the fact I might not make it out of Warsaw until today... It seems LOT have a lot of planes though, because they managed to rustle one up for the 20:05 flight after the dreaded 'Delayed' flashed up on the board when it was apparent that we had a crew but no plane... It was one of those days to be honest - but came good in the end.

So up early for our much-awaited girls' day out. First stop: 11am ice-skating session at the very pretty Somerset House (followed by mulled wine!) before the Breakfast at Tiffany's matinee on Haymarket. Pre and post theatre fizz was naturally called for, in celebration of us all getting together and for newbie mum Rach, who was enjoying a few hours of grown-up time! Saw the 3-hr-long happy hour through and then adjourned for fajitas and other mouth-watering snacks at a very tasty Mexican off Covent Gdn.
