I Can Hear the Sea!

I have had this shell for as long as I remember. As a child I would put it to my ear and "hear the sea". It was a disappointment to later learn that you were listening to the blood flow in the ear!
I was brought up by the sea. Now that I am landlocked, I can still listen and remember.
