My Town

This morning the light was so glorious and I had a wonderful time out with my camera. By the time I came home from my walk I had about 60 images and the light was still amazing. however I had to come home was due down at Rainies to sort the club photographic competition and get it away to the judges.
In the end decided to go with this one, even though I had super ones of trees and leaves and the sunrise.
This is a street in our town with all the bins out, we can put a green bin out each week with garden rubbish and this week a yellow bin which is recyclable and next week instead of the yellow one we have a red one which is unrecyclable rubbish. In the distance is the Catholic Church which at the moment is closed down because of the earthquake and the need for strengthening. On the right of the shot is our railway line which runs through the town and belongs to the Railway and Historical Society. WE have a steam train a diesel one and a Model T railcar. These all run during the summer and at all holiday weekends and has put our little town on the map for Railway enthusiasts.
It is so great to be out early on such a morning in amazing light I just wanted to keep on taking images.
By the time I got to Rainies down came the rain and has kept up persistently all day
