An oldie at Echo Point.

I've been rummaging through old photos, finding the ones I need to scan for my Family History website, and have made a few "other finds" along the way too, as you do.

When Mr. Hobbs of Hobbs Run suggested blippers take photos of The Three Sisters at Katoomba, I told him that even though I lived too far away now to pop down and grab a quick photo, I would see what I could find in the archives.

And this is my favourite find, of my mum and me, taken sometime in the 1960's, windswept, and probably a tad cold too, at Echo Point in Katoomba. When this photo was taken, we lived at Valley Heights, so just a few miles down the hill from Katoomba.

This photo sorting is exhausting....I need a coffee..... ;)
