Sleeping in the big bed

Tonight was a minor success. Jessica is a) asleep before I go to bed and b) asleep in her cot. Not her moses basket or on daddy! Today was first day with just me and the kids after the bank holiday and Mike working from home. I've had Ben saying either police car as he now has a new toy car for the garden or 'thaniel...he really enjoys play dates with Nathaniel and Balian so thanks Rita was also fab to see Becky and Charlotte. Can't believe Charlotte is 2! The first of our NCT babies!
another lovely moment of today was Ben helping me make meatballs. He whisked the egg, measured the herbs and shreaded the bread to crumbs! Very proud of my little chef. Also meant he ate them as he'd helped make them!
