Tourist Information building in Vadstena, Sweden

Arrived at the airport early doors this morning. I couldn't check Hannah in online since I booked her ticket after my own. Therefore had to go to the checkin desk. Sailed through passport control and security with plenty time to spare. Stopped off on our way to the gate for coffee and croissants, the only way to start an epic journey.

On our way to the gate we literally bumped into my sister Carolyn and her friend Diane. Carolyn screamed! Every other passenger looked round in bewilderment!! She had no inkling at all that we were going to be there. A big thanks to Diane for keeping it quiet for almost a year!

Believe it or not we ended up sitting across from each other with empty seats for three rows behind us and about five rows in front of us!! Great flight to Gothenberg. Diane picked up the hired car then we drove to her house just outside Vadstena which took us over 2 hours. Quick lunch before heading into Vadstena to start hanging the photographs and paintings.
