AND I THINK TO MYSELF.......

.....what a wonderful island!! We have had a great day today - started off by going back to Cobo and walking along the beach - the sand is almost white and the sea is such a beautiful turquoise colour, it could be the Mediterranean. However, there was a very strong wind, but this just added to the beauty of the sea.

Then after a quick lunch with our host and hostess, our friend, K and her husband, B, arrived and took us round the rest of the island that we didn't see on their tour on Saturday.

I am absolutely spoilt for choice for a blip as I took so many photographs from coves, beaches, rocks, rough sea - you name it, we saw it. This is one of many photographs that I took at La Jaonneuse - it's a good job I wrote down the names of the places we went to!

We were then treated to the most enormous piece of fish we have ever seen - in fact, it spilled over the edges of "Christmas" sized plates and by the time we had finished that we didn't even have room for a dessert.

A fantastic day - many thanks to GuernseyKa and BGB for being our tour guide and chauffeur - now all I need to do is sort out the photographs!!
