A collie...
...for Molly.
It is three years since Molly's last blip, a photo of Luigi looking upwards, a touch prophetically one can say in retrospect. I have read that Luigi himself has since passed away, and perhaps he and Molly are enjoying each other's company somewhere else, surrounded by flowers, serenaded by birdsong, and under blue skies.
Gus came along long after Molly's passing, but I have a feeling she would have liked him, and found the perfect words to describe him. I had no other photographs to mark this day, only Gus perched on a big boulder on the foreshore with Arnside Viaduct behind him. For a once camera shy dog, he has turned into a right poser. What a dog will do for a tasty treat.
If anyone from Blipcentral happens to read this blip, I do have a request. Could Molly's wonderful Tuscany journal be given full membership? It would allow visitors to her journal to find their favourite blips so much more easily. And for Blipfoto it would be entirely cost neutral.
There are a lot of blippers out there who remember her more than fondly, there are newer blippers who would be enthralled by her journal.
Something else that would have interested Molly: as I got back to the car this evening, just outside Ashmeadow House, I heard the unmistakeable screams of swifts overhead. My first of the year, the heralds of Summer are back.
