Ladybird, ladybird...

I was pleased to see this Fourteen-spot Ladybird at the nature reserve this afternoon. Despite a good forecast for the area it was mostly dull, cold and quite windy. I had hoped to record my butterfly transect, but conditions were just not suitable. I had a good look at some patches of south-facing scrub, hoping to pick up interesting insects, but this ladybird was as exciting as it got! I'm seeing more insects in my tiny garden at the moment! Bring on the sun.
