Towards Hoy

Today, my beautiful girl and I had a day off. We got up a little later than normal and then kidnapped Evie the Wonderdog and set off down the west coast of the Orkney mainland from The Bay of Skaill to the Black Craig. It is a great walk with fabulous cliff scenery along the way and plenty of birds to look at (and rabbits for the dogs to chase). It was a little overcast and the breeze was chilly at times, but it was great to be out together again.
The patch of sunshine on Hoy developed into a fabulous afternoon.
