life is a carousel

Grace after her walk laying in what to me looks an uncomfortable position but it can't be or she would move. She reminded me of a carousel pony with extended legs :) Mr Storm (on the right) looks more comfortable on the floor while the Boss Lady was laying on top of Alice.

The kitchen furniture has been a carousel too. Delivery of the new-to-us furniture which we bought on Saturday from the salvage yard. Then the sale of our original kitchen table and chairs this afternoon.

Spend the afternoon priming the cupboard we bought ready for painting. Scrubbed and oiled the table. Assembled the stools. Decided the stools are slightly too tall for the table. Hmmmm.... Dilemma: change the stools or the table? I like both obviously, or we wouldn't have chosen them.

Waiting for the Husband to return home to see what he comes up with. He's a clever chap when it comes to bodging hehehehe

Late edit... I have bought bun feet and castors to see which will look better to raise the table. Hurray for eBay
