Dog and I went for a walk along the beach today. On the way back I noticed a lot of these web like structures on bare Hawthorne branches. They generally measured about 3" x 6". I had no idea what they were and so photographed one.
On the big screen it appears to be home to some hairy little caterpillars but I have no idea what sort they are. I'm sure one of you clever people will know.
