Out out

Went out-out with the man to a local restaurant. The boy stayed home with the x-box and promise of chips on return. Whilst it was an early meal for us both, it was lovely to just be man and wife, out together.

By all accounts the boy enjoyed his time on his own too, can't work out if it was due to nagging mum being out, him having full control of the remote or the bag of chips and sausage we brought home!

Success on all counts.

EDITED TO ADD: Clearly we are also creatures of habit. Apparently on this exact day last year we ate here. Although we brought the boy child with us that day. Wonder if we'll visit for tea next year too?
