Flowers n Surf

I worked for a while with a woman who owned a Blue Winged McCaw. This bird Herbie shed feathers regularly. They were/ are beautiful... one side iridescent red, the other a wonderful opposite in teals. April gave me some bags of feathers at one point and I created this piece. Tonight I picked it up from where I had my show this last month, a few pieces have been requested to stick around awhile longer, this one was not. I'm half a heart toward just giving it to my friend, Herbie.
