Last full English for a while!

We didn't know how long it would take to get to Gatwick in the rush hour on the first day after the bank holiday, so had an early start.
With hindsight, it may have been a mistake to hire a two door Fiat 500, as mum got stuck in the back, falling into the footwell as she tried to get out! After getting the cases out, dad me and the guy who had come over to check the car back in, all managed to pull her out!
Then we had breakfast and flew to France, with only one item getting confiscated at security, and dad getting a thorough search due to his prosthetic knee setting off all the alarms!
Then we shopped for our dinner in Leclerc, collected the dogs from kennels, and went home. We opened a bottle of Lidl's excellent Cremant de Limoux and sat outside to relax before having our dinner and now, too sleepy to stay awake, I've called it a day, glad to be back, goodnight!
